Backed by eight-figure contracts across the Department of Defense, we are strengthening national security by iterating closely with end users engaged in tactical operations.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineer - UI to help design and implement OverWatch, a mission-critical command-and-control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles. This role is focused on building high-quality, performant UI components and workflows that are used in real-world operational environments. The ideal candidate enjoys working closely with designers and product managers, cares deeply about user experience and reliability, and is excited to iterate quickly based on direct feedback from end users.
In this role, you will:
  • Design and implement UI features for a cutting-edge command-and-control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles.
  • Contribute production-quality code to a modern frontend codebase, following established architectural patterns and best practices.
  • Work closely with UX designers to translate design systems and mockups into polished, usable interfaces.
  • Integrate UI components with a variety of backend APIs and data sources.
  • Participate in field exercises and user observations to understand real-world workflows and inform rapid iteration.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline; OR 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with React and TypeScript.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • Professional experience developing user interfaces in production systems.
  • Familiarity working with backend APIs and asynchronous data flows.
  • Experience with or interest in real-time or event-driven systems; prior exposure to MQTT is a plaus
  • Experience developing for Android/ATAK devices
