Role: Technical Consultant - Mobile Application (Kotlin)

Location: Durham, NC (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Description:

  • We are seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Android application development as the primary skill, along with working knowledge of Swift and iOS development as a secondary skill.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications while supporting cross-platform mobile initiatives.

Day to Day job Duties:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Build clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions following Android best practices.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
  • Develop responsive and intuitive mobile user interfaces.
  • Optimize applications for performance, security, and reliability.
  • Implement unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for Android applications.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in Kotlin and Android application development
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in REST API integration and JSON handling
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience with local storage solutions such as Room, SQLite, or SharedPreferences

Nice to have:
