Job description

  • Collaborate with program staff and leaders to maintain optimal program performance and operations, improve program processes, documentation standards, and quality.
  • Assist with project planning, implementation, and completion.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist with drafting technical reports.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and attend weekly EMS research and education meetings.
  • Assist with managing the daily logistical needs of research teams.
  • Support the investigative team to ensure all project goals and major tasks are effectively planned and executed on schedule.
  • Source and assess equipment options to assist with purchasing decisions.
  • Purchase equipment and supplies in compliance with university and external agency regulations.
  • Maintain and track inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure availability of equipment and supplies for training operations.
  • Utilize data collection and reporting systems to facilitate the work outlined in grants and internally funded research.
  • Coordinate and support training program operations, including course scheduling, student management system administration, and program completion reporting.
  • Coordinate the certification process by tracking, issuing, troubleshooting, and maintaining certification records, as well as preparing certification card invoices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for training program inquiries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Emergency Medical Services Data and Quality Management. 
  • Knowledge of Arizona Regulatory requirements related to Emergency Medical Services treatment and transportation.
  • Knowledge of research regulatory compliance (FDA/IHC-GCP) and IRB processes.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial protocols and grand funding mechanisms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Ability to prioritize project assignments.
