Job description

We are seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer to serve as a forward-deployed technical expert. In this role, you will apply a quantitative mindset and deep technical expertise to solve complex customer problems directly on-site, acting as the primary bridge between mission needs and functional data configurations. Primary Responsibilities
• Embed directly with customer teams on-site in Washington, D.C., to provide real-time technical solutions and operational support.
• Build and manage data integrations from structured and unstructured sources using SQL and Python, supporting containerized deployments via Kubernetes and Docker.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for senior leaders, facilitating data deep-dives and "what-if" scenario modeling to address supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Transition high-level assessments into functional, persistent monitors and dashboards that integrate seamlessly into the customer’s daily workflow.
• Diagnose system issues in operational environments and conduct root cause analysis to ensure maximum scalability and performance.
• Lead execution workstreams and mentor team members to refine their technical skills and domain expertise. Required Experience
• Active Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, etc.) or 3–7 years of equivalent professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python (R is also acceptable).
• 3–7 years performing analytics within the defense sector, with a firm grasp of acquisition processes and program management.
• Proven history of presenting complex technical findings to senior officials. Preferred Experience
• Experience with SaaS and cloud platforms, specifically AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), PPBE, or Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).
• Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline.
• Experience operating in fast-paced startup or entrepreneurial settings.
• Prior experience with Palantir Foundry is a plus, though training will be provided.
