SAP NS2 Data and Analytics Engineer - Hybrid - Herndon, VA; Newtown Square, PA

The oCOO Data Management team is responsible for providing trusted data and analysis to support evaluation, research, assessment, and strategic planning for management decisions. The team creates data and analytics and enables users throughout the business to create a data-driven culture with an agile mindset enabling business transformation while working to ensure secure data usability, availability and efficiency. This position is a hybrid role and will be required to come into the Newtown Square office approximately one day a week.

The Data and Analytics Engineer will work in a cross-functional team and will be responsible for defining data architecture to support the business strategy and for data modeling development. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and document analytics and statistical modeling to develop metrics, reports, AI use cases, and/or dashboards leveraging SAP BDC, SAP HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Work with business and application/solution teams to define and implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models
  • Define to-be data architecture that supports business objectives and govern the expansion of existing data architecture and the optimization of analytics performance via best practices.
  • Provide recommendations and support SAP NS2's master data architecture, data governance approach, and data quality improvement efforts
  • Ensure re-use of existing data artifacts and single source of truth concept via the data architecture and data governance
  • Drive organizational change management and agile transformation throughout the establishment and optimization of analytics
  • Resolve complex issues proactively, working both independently and collaboratively as appropriate to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
  • Design, implement, and document future-state data architecture and data modeling solutions, which may include the use of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases. These solutions support enterprise information management, business intelligence, AI/machine learning, data science, and other business interests.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree + 5-8 years' experience
  • Hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).
  • Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts required.
  • Experience developing or maintaining data models and analytics related to financial management, sales, cloud operations, customer success and/or technology operations.
  • Proficient knowledge and technical competencies of relevant programming languages and modeling technologies and related business applications (e.g. SAP BTP,  SAP BDC, SAP HANA, DF4A, SAC, C4S, ECC, S/4HANA, ServiceNOW).
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs), Cline, SAP Joule, and AI agents (nice to have, not required).
  • Good knowledge of master data management, metadata management, data modeling, and related tools.
  • Good knowledge of data security requirements for federal contractors (e.g. NIST Special Publications)
  • Experience with ServiceNow data management features and functionality preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with geographically dispersed colleagues
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
