This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics product delivery, and customer‑facing solution design.

You will lead a team responsible for building scalable SaaS‑based analytics platforms powered by Power BI, advanced SQL, cloud data architectures, and emerging AI/ML capabilities. This role is accountable for both technical execution and strategic direction—ensuring data is transformed into meaningful, actionable insights that drive operational and financial decision‑making.

This is a highly cross‑functional leadership role requiring close partnership with customers, product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex healthcare and financial data into intuitive, high‑impact analytical experiences.

This position will be located at our offices in San Diego, CA.

This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States.

How you will make an impact:
  • Define and lead the end‑to‑end architecture for reporting and analytics platforms across healthcare and financial data domains
  • Drive the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade dashboards, semantic models, and BI solutions using Power BI and advanced SQL
  • Lead the development and application of AI/ML‑driven analytics to enhance reporting automation, predictive insights, and decision support
  • Translate complex clinical, operational, and financial data into scalable metrics, KPIs, and visualization frameworks
  • Partner directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert business needs into technical and analytical solutions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of analytics engineers, data scientists, and BI developers
  • Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards across healthcare and financial datasets (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, GDPR)
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve analytics capabilities and platform scalability
What you will bring to the role:

We’re looking for someone strong technical acumen who thrives in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment. You might be a great fit if you:

  • Operate with a strong sense of ownership for technical outcomes, platform quality, and delivery impact
  • Navigate ambiguity in complex data and business environments while driving clarity and structured execution
  • Influence cross‑functional stakeholders through structured thinking and data‑driven decision‑making
  • Build trust and alignment across engineering, product, and customer stakeholders in high‑complexity environments
Skills and experience you have:

You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI development roles
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in analytics, data platform, or reporting functions
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and enterprise dashboard development
  • Advanced SQL expertise with experience working across large‑scale, complex healthcare or financial datasets
  • Experience designing and delivering cloud‑based data and analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
  • Experience building and deploying AI/ML models or advanced analytics solutions in production environments
  • Demonstrated experience working with healthcare data (clinical, operational, revenue cycle) and/or financial data in regulated environments
  • Experience implementing data governance, security, and compliance frameworks in regulated industries (HIPAA, SOX, GDPR or equivalent)
  • Experience managing customer‑facing requirements gathering and translating them into technical analytics deliverables
