About the Role
Join a high-impact analytics team supporting the evaluation of Intelligence Community (IC) analytic standards. As a Data Scientist IV, you will lead the design, deployment, and analysis of large-scale, complex surveys to drive decision-making and process improvements across critical intelligence operations. Your expertise will influence analytic objectivity, survey methodologies, and advanced data integrations-making a real difference in national security outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and administer advanced surveys across multiple digital platforms
- Advise on survey tools and methodologies, ensuring ethical, methodological, and technical rigor
- Troubleshoot and resolve pre-launch and live survey technical issues, with a focus on accessibility and data accuracy
- Consolidate and analyze structured/unstructured survey data using statistical and AI/LLM tools
- Interpret free text responses, integrating AI-driven insights with human review
- Visualize data and develop tailored presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Drive recommendations to enhance analytic processes and compliance with IC standards
- Develop custom dashboards, queries, and briefing materials featuring actionable insights
Required Skills and Experience
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years, or Master's degree with 6-10 years relevant experience
- Deep expertise with survey platforms (e.g., LimeSurvey) and survey data analysis tools (Tableau, Excel, IBM SPSS)
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization, and quantitative methodologies
- Strong background in intelligence product/process advisement
