Job Summary:
Warner Bros. Discovery is a leading entertainment company known for its iconic content and beloved brands. They are seeking a passionate and driven Senior Product Manager to join the DTC Data Product Compliance team, focusing on privacy-preserving advertising platforms and technical frameworks while collaborating across various departments.
Responsibilities:
• Own the product vision and execution for large-scale, privacy-preserving advertising workflows powered by data clean rooms, including advertiser first-party data onboarding, identity matching against our 1P datasets, audience creation and activation, and attribution and measurement across the modern ad tech ecosystem.
• Partner with engineering and advertising teams to design and ship scalable, standardized, privacy-preserving solutions that operate within clean room and signal-restricted environments, delivering products that meet the needs of advertisers, agencies, third-party measurement vendors, and other ad tech providers.
• Provide product expertise and thought leadership in the areas of backend data compliance and privacy, with an understanding of how regulations and partner requirements impact and influence use of data across various business processes and functions.
• Gather, define, and clearly document data use cases through partnership with stakeholders, including Data Platform Engineering, Data Science (ML/AI), Advertising, Marketing, Analytics, Experimentation, Research, Fraud & Abuse.
• Operate well in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge, drill into business data and research results to identify clear direction and focus.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data handling to assess their impact on maintaining compliance and their potential for novel privacy solutions.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to enable customer focused features with a “privacy by design” approach.
• Promote a culture of privacy awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
• Build healthy, trusting relationships and contribute to a culture of respect by giving feedback respectfully, exchanging ideas openly, and receiving feedback humbly.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of backend/platform Product Management experience within a technology or digital organization.
• 2+ years of experience with technical frameworks in the digital ads ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of privacy and compliance for consumer data used in the advertising space.
• Built and delivered a roadmap for data clean room and ads measurement product by evaluating build vs. buy options.
• Has experience collaborating with data clean room providers, ad measurement providers, advertisers, and agencies.
• Proficiency with analyzing technical architecture diagrams and creating data flows.
• Experience partnering with technical teams on highly complex projects.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive team culture built on empathy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on documentation that communicates complex subject matter simply and clearly.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across legal, product, and engineering functions.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented; self-starter, accountable, and empowered.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
