As a PROJECT - Data Management Engineer II - Power BI Engineer on the Government & Public Services team, you will be responsible for...

  • Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that ingest, transform, and prepare data for analytics and reporting use cases
  • Designing intuitive dashboards, data visualizations, and user-centered analytics experiences that transform complex data into actionable insights, while applying user experience (UX) principles, information design, and accessibility best practices across dashboards, web applications, and digital products
  • Developing dashboards, reports, and analytics products that support business decisions and client mission outcomes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support solution delivery
  • Performing data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to improve data quality and reliability across platforms
  • Supporting deployment, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of data and analytics solutions in a project-based environment

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Secret Security Clearance Required
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of experience with SQL
  • 1+ year of experience with artificial intelligence or machine learning solutions
  • 1+ year of experience developing data visualizations
  • 1+ year of experience supporting user experience design for dashboards, reports, or analytics products

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 - $147,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
