As a Commercial Consultant (Senior Analyst, Associate Consultant, Consultant, and Senior Consultant roles also available, depending on experience and fit) at Red Nucleus, you will be at the center of a successful global consulting organization, assisting clients including biopharmaceutical and generic manufacturers, device and diagnostic companies, and financial, legal and investment firms - to maximize commercial success through advanced strategic problem solving, market research, analytics, project planning, and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Manage project capabilities and proposal development by working with the project team to provide relevant secondary and primary research; identify gaps in information
  • Bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution and effectively delegate
  • Manage up and down to secure timely and appropriate input
  • Structure and review deliverables
  • Ensure excellent internal team communication
  • Directly apply senior feedback in creation of materials and deliverables
  • Capture key takeaways from client and internal discussions, external stakeholder discussions
  • Conduct primary research interviews and extract insights for team discussion strategic recommendations
  • Prepare project deliverables for senior review in timely manner and in accordance with highest quality standards

About You
  • 2-3 years of direct and relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech arena (Industry or life sciences consulting). Progressively more experience required for Consultant and Senior Consultant
  • Ability to work in a highly fluid, interactive, demanding, matrixed client environment and build strong, successful business partnerships
  • Depending on role fit (Senior Analyst, Associate Consultant, Consultant or Senior Consultant), progressively broader and deeper understanding of, and direct experience with, relevant healthcare market dynamics across a range of therapy areas
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Solid knowledge of healthcare market dynamics in major markets (US, EU5, Japan) as well as familiarity with patient, physician, and payer relationships
  • Experience working with commercial leaders in New Product Planning (NPP), marketing, commercial analytics, and/or sales functions
  • Illustrative project types may include: commercial opportunity assessment and forecasting, go-to-market strategy, indication prioritization, product launch strategy, launch planning, franchise / brand / tactical planning, lifecycle strategy, HCP / patient segmentation, stakeholder engagement strategy
  • Solid understanding of relevant disease background and product dynamics
  • Candidates may have emerging areas of specific expertise (content or project type)
  • Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically, identify strategic options and trade-offs, effectively communicate business impact and strategic recommendations
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office applications, e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel
