Job description

Summary of Job Description:

The Insights & Analytics Associate Manager serves as the technical analytics lead within the Insights & Analytics team, applying statistical modeling, experimental design, and advanced analytical techniques to support pricing strategy, promotional measurement, and enterprise decision making. This position is a key contributor on the Insights & Analytics team, responsible for the analytical measurement of high‑impact business initiatives, including Limited Time Offers (LTOs), pricing actions, and market‑level tests. The Associate Manager serves as the analytical authority on causal measurement, ensuring that business performance is evaluated rigorously and credibly in complex, real‑world environments. This position is responsible for defining measurement protocols and stress‑tests assumptions to senior leaders with clear, defensible answers.


Job Responsibilities:

LTO analytics – Internal Measurement 

  • Responsible for the measurement of LTOs, regional tests, and other business initiatives, determining incremental lift and true business impact. Applies advanced statistical and econometric techniques to evaluate business initiatives where randomized experiments are not feasible.

Pricing and Ad-hoc Analysis 

  • Performs ad-hoc analyses and supports ad-hoc insights projects (e.g., A/B and multivariant testing, elasticity and pricing sensitivity analysis, etc.) for strategic marketing initiatives. Performs analyses to quantify impact of all types of marketing promotions and helps identify metrics used in assessing future promotions and initiatives.

Operations Tests – Performance Measurement

  • Responsible for test‑and‑control methodology across projects. Determines appropriate control markets by accounting for known distortions and helps identify previously unknown distortions by leading with a data-curious mindset. Partners with stakeholders to ensure tests are analytically sound and conclusions are credible and defensible.

Annual planning – Advanced Analytics 

  • Applies advanced analytical techniques across store level and customer level data, including segmentation analysis, market level performance modeling, and econometric approaches. Contributes to more advanced modeling efforts (e.g., Marketing Mix Modeling) where applicable.

Survey Insights & Executive Communication

  • Supports survey programming, analysis, and data manipulation under Manager guidance for internal company culture events, presenting findings to key company stakeholders. Translates complex statistical findings into clear, executive; ready narratives. Communicates uncertainty, limitations, and tradeoffs transparently, enabling informed decision making at senior levels.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics within multi‑unit restaurant, retail, or similar environments; proven experience working with store‑level data, regional performance analysis, and customer segmentation as well as marketing or operations testing and measurement protocols
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.


Pay Range: P3: $90,000 - $126,500 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
