Job description

Job Title: Analytical Chemist Location: Malvern, PA Type: Direct Hire Hours: Monday - Friday 2PM - 10:30PM

Overview Specialty Pharmaceutical Manufacturer is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their team in Malvern, PA!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct GMP analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, final product, and stability samples.
  • Calibrate, validate, maintain and operate laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, HS-GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, pH meter, balances, KF, DSC, TGA, NMR, LCMS, and GCMS.
  • Conduct working standard qualification
  • Complete GMP documentation needed to support release of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
  • Validate methods for use in GMP environment.
  • Prepare documents such as methods of analysis, specification, analytical reports etc.
  • Evaluate analytical methods and procedures and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (chemistry/biochemistry/biology preferred)
  • 2+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
  • Open to recent Master’s graduates with academic lab experience
  • Must operate HPLC independently
  • Must have pharma + GMP experience
  • Strongly prefer experience with finished product, raw material, or API product testing
