Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant, CPA, or Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing individual and business tax returns, enjoy working directly with clients, and be committed to providing outstanding service and accurate results.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual and business income tax returns.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide tax guidance.
  • Conduct tax research and resolve tax-related issues.
  • Assist clients with proactive tax planning strategies.
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with bookkeeping engagements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members while managing projects independently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preparing individual income tax returns (required).
  • Experience preparing business tax returns preferred.
  • CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential preferred but not required.
