Analytical Chemistry Lab Technician at Holland Sharpe

Be part of a stable, high-performing lab team known for great culture and precision work in Clarksville, TN.

Role Snapshot
  • Location: Clarksville, TN
  • Pay: $21.66/hr (Days) | $23.41/hr (Nights)
  • Schedule: 3rd shift (6pm–6am); must be available for a 12.5-hour rotating shift (Days: 6AM–6PM | Nights: 6PM–6AM). Position is primarily nights; open to days as business needs change. Initial training will be on days.
What You'll Do
  • Set up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Test raw materials, chemical solutions, and finished steel cord to verify conformance to specifications
  • Perform daily physical, chemical, and instrumental analyses, including titration and pipetting
  • Analyze solutions used in plating and wire drawing processes
  • Identify and quantify impurities and elemental content in steel cord samples
  • Document findings on standardized forms and produce written test reports, graphs, and charts
  • Prepare chemical solutions using standard formulas
  • Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment to maintain readiness
