Job description

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position:

Engineer, Analyzer

The Analyzer Engineer is responsible for the engineering, reliability, performance, and lifecycle management of all online process analyzers and analyzer sampling systems throughout the LNG facility. This role ensures that analyzer systems provide accurate, reliable, and timely measurements that support safe operations, LNG product quality, custody transfer, environmental compliance, and the facility's Mass and Energy Balance (MEB).

Analyzer Responsibilities

  • Ensure analyzer system reliability meets plant availability targets through preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance.

  • Provide engineering support for process analyzers including Gas Chromatographs (GC), moisture, oxygen, HS, sulfur, CO, BTU/Wobbe, mercury, TDLAS, CEMS, LNG density, and other process analytical equipment.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting process analyzers in LNG, natural gas processing, petrochemical, refining, or cryogenic facilities.

  • Strong knowledge of analyzer sample systems and process measurement.

  • Experience with DCS, PLC, and industrial communications.

  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, electrical schematics, and analyzer system documentation.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Five or more years of analyzer engineering experience in LNG, natural gas processing, petrochemical, refining, or cryogenic facilities.
