2027 Research Analyst

Research Analysts work on project teams at the direction of project managers and senior staff. Research Analysts assist with gathering, processing, and analyzing data; complete qualitative research; preparing client-deliverable workproduct.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the analysis of complex economic data using a variety of tools, including STATA, SAS, R, Python, and other coding languages.
  • Producing tables, graphs, and other visual representations of analytical results.
  • Completing qualitative research assignments related to economic and industryโ€‘specific issues relevant to onโ€‘going client engagements.
  • Reviewing documents and other materials as necessary to identify caseโ€‘specific information as requested by supervisors.
  • Assisting with the preparation of expert testimony and other clientโ€‘deliverable workproduct.
  • Completing audits and ensuring the accuracy of analyses and workproduct.
  • Participating in internal and external meetings as requested and appropriate.
  • Contributing to a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Research Analysts must have a fourโ€‘year college degree, preferably in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science or other closely related fields, or equivalent relevant work experience.
