SUMMER INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:
The Hanover's Internship Program provides college students with the opportunity to work on a variety of critical business assignments, test your skills, use your academic knowledge, and match your interests to a real job.
Through the 10-week summer program (June - mid August), You will:
  • Take on meaningful projects and work alongside some of the very best talent in the industry
  • Be supported and mentored by a community of exceptional talent (leaders, managers, subject matter experts and recent graduates)

Our Personal Lines Operations team is seeking exceptional college students for our Summer Internship Program, which provides meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, as well as rewarding career path options.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Support the Personal Lines Operations Analytics group
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to meet customer needs
  • Assists in developing tools, processes, and reporting analytics in support of business strategies
  • Communicate with customers, external partners, and internal departments
  • Provide accurate analytical support to business stakeholders, ensuring results are validated and accurate
  • Summarize information and effectively communicate analyses in writing and verbally to internal partners
  • Contribute to a real-world project that addresses business needs and delivers measurable value, while also supporting the team with ad hoc data requests, competing priorities, and deadline driven work in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist in various projects, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and evolving business environment
  • Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree or advanced degree program
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio preferred
  • Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Excel and SQL coding language required
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and analytical skills
  • Thinks critically and anticipates, recognizes, identifies, and develops solutions
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize competing deadlines
