Crown Career Pathways Indigenous Internship Opportunities

Location: Based on the successful applicant, open provincially (on-site)

Number of positions: 2

Work hours: Full-Time; Monday - Friday

Term: 1 year

Pay: $51,000 - $70,000 annually (role dependent)

Designed for individuals of Indigenous ancestry who have graduated from Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions within the past two years, this paid internship offers hands-on experience, meaningful work, mentorship, and the opportunity to build a career at SGI.

We are looking for two enthusiastic Interns to join our team. If you are shortlisted, we will collaborate with you to find the best fit within our company based on your skills and interests. SGI offers a variety of roles beyond insurance. In the Auto Fund, you can help in making our roads safer or assist with driver's licence and registration inquiries. In Claims, you can help customer's who've been in an accident. If you are interested in building operations, join our Facilities team! Does marketing and promotions pique your interest? We have an amazing team you can work with. You may enjoy working with numbers in our Finance division or taking apart cars in Salvage. Or maybe the work being done in our HR or IT teams will interest you. Whatever your interest, there's a place for you at SGI!

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Crown Career Pathways Internship Program, you must:

  • Self-identify as First Nations, Inuit, or Metis.

  • Be a Saskatchewan resident.

  • Have completed an undergraduate or graduate credential (certificate, diploma, or degree) from a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution recognized by the Government of Saskatchewan within the past two years; or be within four (4) months of completing your credential.

  • Have completed a field of study relevant to SGI's work, such as Business, Social Sciences, Math and Applied Sciences, Information Technology, Health, or the Trades.
