What You’ll Do
  • Tax Compliance amp; Review: Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and pass-through entity tax returns with a high degree of accuracy and compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
  • Tax Research amp; Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on a wide range of federal and state tax issues related to business transactions, entity structures, and client-specific matters.
  • Strategic Tax Planning: Assist clients with proactive tax planning strategies and prepare tax projections designed to support long-term financial goals and operational efficiency.
  • Client Advisory Support: Partner with clients to provide responsive guidance and practical solutions regarding tax matters, compliance requirements, and planning opportunities.
  • Engagement Execution: Perform and manage tax engagements requiring detailed analysis across multiple entity types while ensuring timely completion and quality deliverables.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with managers and partners to support engagement workflow, client service initiatives, and overall team success.
  • Technical Development: Maintain current knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to support high-quality client service and continuous professional growth.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients through effective communication, reliability, and a service-oriented approach.
  • Process amp; Technology Utilization: Utilize firm software and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and engagement workflow processes.
  • Peak Season Adaptability: Successfully manage multiple priorities and deadlines during high-volume periods while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
What You Bring
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
  • Certification: Active CPA license required.
  • Experience: 2–3+ years of public accounting experience in taxation, including experience with the responsibilities outlined for this role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Well-rounded understanding of accounting principles, tax compliance, and tax planning concepts across multiple entity types.
  • Communication Skills: Professional with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective client relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, delegation, and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, managers, partners, and clients in a fast-paced environment.
