GENERAL PURPOSE
Leads finance activities in support of major business units, product lines, or operational functions. Partners with business leaders to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and deliver actionable insights. Oversees forecasting, planning, and analysis activities, translating complex financial data into clear recommendations that improve operational and financial outcomes.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with business unit and operations leaders to understand objectives, evaluate performance, and drive actions that improve financial results

  • Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy

  • Provide insights into key drivers of performance, including cost, productivity, and profitability, and recommend actions to address risks and opportunities

  • Analyze manufacturing and/or product line performance, identifying trends and supporting data-driven decision-making

  • Support strategic initiatives such as capital investments, cost optimization, insourcing/outsourcing, and process improvements

  • Translate financial results into clear, actionable insights for leadership, enabling informed business decisions

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and other business partners to improve processes and deliver business outcome

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation

  • Ensure financial data integrity and alignment with company policies while maintaining a focus on enabling the business

  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, operations finance, or business-facing finance roles

  • 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring finance professionals

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial results to operational performance

  • Proven ability to influence decisions and partner effectively with leaders at all levels

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
