Duties
  • Architect, design, develop, and validate embedded modular system software and low-level firmware in C/C++ for RF/high-speed converter front-end, chip, and SoC products.
  • Collaborate with a broad, cross-functional team, including RF transceiver Analog/Digital/System Designers, FPGA Designers, and Applications Engineers.
  • Lead the definition and development of system prototypes and technology demonstrators to explore new architectures in RF system design and calibration.
  • Design and develop MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) system products, software roles focusing on algorithms for sensor calibration, data processing, and error correction.
  • Design, develop, and validate embedded software for MEMS IMU/GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) sensor fusion products.
  • Implement machine learning techniques for optimizing sensor performance, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance in embedded systems.
Requirements
  • Must have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field (willing to accept a foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience in the proffered position or a related occupation, developing embedded software, embedded software frameworks, and device drivers for RF transceivers and MEMs products.
  • Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in embedded programming with ARM Assembly and C/C++, integrating ARM microcontroller platforms into complex system-level designs, including ASICs and SOCs; DE in software development methodology and process, designing and implementing software frameworks for unit testing, code coverage, and CI/CD pipelines; DE in software design or architecture for high-speed digital converter systems; DE in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms for RF transceivers and control theories, along with proficiency in Python and MATLAB; DE in system design and compensation algorithms using accelerometers and gyroscopes; and DE with GNSS technology and the implementation of sensor fusion algorithms.
