CoSolutions is currently hiring a Senior AV (Audio Visual) Engineer in Omaha, NE at the US Strategic Command Center. The mission of USSTRATCOM is to deter strategic attack through a safe, secure, effective, and credible, global combat capability and, when directed, is ready to prevail in conflict. The command enables Joint Force operations and is the combatant command responsible for Strategic Deterrence, Nuclear Operations, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Operations, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, Global Strike, Analysis and Targeting, and Missile Threat Assessment.

This position provides support for the design, implementation, and installation of AV systems. Specifically providing technical design and support across the A/V spectrum: all AV distribution and switching equipment, displays, and other associated equipment that provide a secure, robust, and integrated information system between the end users and their required resources, to include lifecycle management of that equipment.

NOTE: This is a 100% on-site position with no ability for remote/virtual work due to the sensitive nature of the work and collaboration of the program team.

Responsibilities:

Research, design, engineer, install, implement, configure, document, and provide O&S turnover of Enterprise AV system and capability upgrades, moves, changes, and additions

Design and implement solutions consistent with industry standards and compliant with DoD standards as well as the Command's architectures and policies.

Provides all touch panel programming for all new installs and any configuration of AV components.

Ensure engineered solutions are ready for operations and handoff to the Enterprise O&S Functional Area for continued operations. During handoff provide oversight and training as needed to ensure the Enterprise O&S Functional Area can fully operate and sustain the systems.

Operating and maintaining complex audio-visual distribution systems.

Operating and maintaining enterprise VTC Systems, VTC solutions, including bridging, gateways, gatekeepers, border controllers, and management systems.

Operating and maintaining room control systems.

Writing control system software code and graphical user interfaces to control and administer complex multi-classification operational environments.

Familiarity working with CATV (both satellite and terrestrial) systems.

Investigating and solving problems or resolving conflicts related to AV.

Act as the senior expert advisor to Government personnel in his/her area of professional responsibility.

Operations of Cisco Management Suites and all Cisco VTC systems, Cisco Multipoint Control Units and Gateways.

Providing large scale audio solutions, including but not limited to theater design, large venue multi-input multi output systems. Certifications in AV Control Systems: Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Certified Technology Specialist โ€“ Design (CTS-D) or similar certification.

Operation of IP based solutions including bridging, gatekeepers, gateways.

Operations of Cisco Telepresence Management Suite.

Programming room control systems using Crestron Simpl, Simpl+, AMX Netlinx Studio.

Programming in complex multi-classification environments.

Perform complex systems development, design work & digital systems engineering.

Provide VTC Endpoint Operations (Secure/Unsecure) โ€“ Conference Room Systems.

Provide VTC infrastructure knowledge (MCU, Gatekeepers, and Gateways).

Understand In-depth IP pertaining to VTCs.

Operations of Video Routing (Matrix switching, Advance System Operations).

Operations of Audio Systems (Digital Signal Processor operations/configuration).

Minimum Required Qualifications:

*This position is subject to DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Qualifications. Qualified Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree OR have completed training in the DoD 8140 Training Repository OR be CSSLP or SSCP Certified*

Experience:

More than five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience with and/or education in the Audio-Visual Industry.

Experience in AV Room Control Systems utilizing AMX, Crestron, or equivalent touch screen controllers to control room classification levels, AV source distribution, and VTC sessions.

Experience in complex AV Display and Distribution systems, utilizing high-definition displays and AV Switches to route AV sources to local and remote displays.

Ability to support customers through remote facilitation tools.

Education: Bachelors in Related Field of Study (Preferred but not required)

Clearance: TS/SCI

Certifications:

At least two Certifications in AV Control Systems: AMX Programmer Certified, Crestron Programmer Certified, Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Certified Technology Specialist โ€“ Design (CTS-D) or similar certifications (e.g. Crestron Digital Media, Extron AV associate, QSC Level 1 programmer, ClearOne CONSOLE AI software certification).

HCCP-P certification or a 6-month timeframe after hire to achieve the HCCP-P certification.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk to various locations as needed.

Ability to bend and navigate to perform assigned duties.

Ability to lift light to moderate equipment as needed for job.
