Equipment Service - Maintenance Associate (2nd & 3rd Shifts available)

Description of Position:

Support in all aspects for daily production operations. Responsibilities include but not limited to: troubleshooting, preventive maintenance activities, repair "all types", production support, machine downtime solutions, machine efficiency improvements, component part rebuild work "all types", all production support type activities as needed.

Duties:

  • Work closely with production members to complete job assignments in a timely manner
  • Support production with planned/unplanned work activities as assigned
  • Support all type of machine breakdown repairs including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics, electrical, ladder logic, and numerical controls
  • Work directly with Team Leaders for production downtime/efficiency improvements
  • Participate in shift meeting and other meetings as assigned
  • Participate in all training activities as required to improve and master job duties as assigned
  • Perform robot recovery and support robot training activities when requested
  • Support new model activities as assigned
  • Demonstrate good communication skills for shift pass down information including production equipment daily performance, machine breakdown follow up
  • Complete equipment PM's as assigned
  • Support environmental improvement activities
  • All other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education
    • Technical High School Education or any combination of equivalent experience and education
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 1-2 years manufacturing experience utilizing team based problem solving techniques
  • Computer Skills
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Plex or other comparable ERP system
  • Personal/Other Skills
    • Mechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of mechanical systems
    • Strong trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
    • Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
    • Familiar with OHSA regulations
    • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
    • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels while displaying a positive can-do approach/attitude
    • Positive, uplifting, and respectful individual
    • Understand technical drawings including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical (including ball screws, spindles, etc.) and ladder logic
    • Knowledge of the work areas covered
    • Good time management skills and discipline to self-prioritize daily activities
