Parkview Health is actively recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician/Physiatrist/Physicians specializing in Physiatry to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Outpatient Opportunity
Ideal candidates for our multidisciplinary practice will have an interest in general physiatry. Flexible inpatient and outpatient opportunities are available, as well as subspecialty practice development.
- Flexible opportunities that can fit your interests as the group plans to expand outpatient clinics for musculoskeletal/spine care, amputee, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries.
- Joint injections and in office procedures available with ultrasound on site.
- Opportunity for Fluoro procedures and EMG if desired.
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation and consultation coverage opportunities available if desired.
- Excellent provider/staff/team collaboration environment promoting a positive working atmosphere and exceptional patient care.

Full Time Position (1.0 FTE) preferred, thought part-time options available.
- This practice supports a 50-bed CARF accredited in-patient rehabilitation unit and outpatient clinics
- Opportunity to split time with outpatient clinics, if desired.
- Group plans to expand outpatient clinics for musculoskeletal care, amputee, stroke and traumatic brain injuries.
- At home call rotation (aprox.1:5 weeks) for rehab-related calls (alternating residents taking first call). Medical calls covered by Internal Medicine.
- On-site medical staff present for rapid response and medical needs.
- Experienced rehab APPs assisting with coverage.
- Focused interest inpatient groups for SCI, TBI, Stroke, Amputees, Medically Complex, and Pediatrics.
- Excellent provider/staff/team collaboration environment promoting a positive working atmosphere and exceptional patient care.
- Research opportunities available if desired.
Graduate Medical Education Programs
- Parkview is the first facility to welcome Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents in northeast Indiana and second in the state of Indiana.
- Parkview welcomed Internal Medicine and General Surgery ACGME accredited residency classes in July 2022.
