Position Summary
Whitewater Amphitheater, a premier live music venue in New Braunfels, TX, is seeking energetic and customer-focused Bar Staff to deliver top-tier service at our fast-paced bar locations. As a member of our bar team, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional beverage service while ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience at our concerts and events.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $2.13 and is tip eligible

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.
Responsibilities
  • Bartending & Service: Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails efficiently while adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Guest Experience: Provide friendly and engaging service, answering guest questions and making drink recommendations.
  • Cash & POS Handling: Accurately process payments, issue change, and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
  • Bar Setup & Cleanliness: Ensure bar stations are fully stocked, organized, and cleaned before, during, and after events.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow all TABC regulations, venue policies, and health/safety guidelines regarding alcohol service.
  • Teamwork & Efficiency: Work closely with fellow bartenders, barbacks, and management to maintain smooth operations, even in high-volume situations.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior bartending or high-volume service experience preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication, cash-handling accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Must have or be able to obtain a TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification.
  • Attributes: Positive attitude, ability to stand for extended periods, and capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to the venue's event schedule.
