AMO Technician - Mechanic I

As an AMO Technician - Mechanic I, you will support complaint investigation and resolution for electro-mechanical equipment. You will contribute to safe and efficient operations by diagnosing issues, following established maintenance procedures, and utilizing diagnostic tools to ensure effective corrective actions.
Fueling Your Passion
As an AMO Technician - Mechanic I, you will develop your technical expertise by analyzing equipment complaints, troubleshooting failures, and supporting corrective maintenance activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, safety, and quality, while reducing recurring issues.
As an AMO Technician - Mechanic I, you will be responsible for:
  • Investigating and resolving equipment-related complaints in line with maintenance procedures.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists to diagnose issues.
  • Supporting maintenance activities while adhering to formal procedures and safety practices.
  • Troubleshooting hydraulic circuits and electro-mechanical systems to identify root causes.
  • Using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and hi-pot testers.
  • Supporting electrical maintenance, including 3-phase 480V and single-phase 120V systems.
  • Assisting in inspection and repair of equipment to ensure operational reliability and complaint closure.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Utilizing basic computer systems for reporting, tracking complaints, and maintenance records.

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a Technical diploma
OR
• Have a minimum of 1 year of relevant industrial experience in electro-mechanical functions (airline, military, oilfield, automotive, or electronics).
• Have basic knowledge of electrical systems, AC/DC circuits, and hydraulic systems.
• Have the ability to analyze faults and perform basic root cause troubleshooting.
• Have strong problem-solving skills with a focus on complaint resolution.
• Have familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Have strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Have basic computer skills for documentation and tracking.
• Have certifications such as A/C, Electrical Maintenance, or Stationary Engineer (preferred but not required).
Work in a Way That Works for You
This role may require flexibility in working hours, including shift-based schedules, depending on operational needs.
Shift Schedule:
Have availability to work Monday through Friday
1st shift (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
2nd shift (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM)
