ResponsibilitiesThe Ammonia Engineer will play a key role in the design, operation, and optimization of ammonia refrigeration systems. This position requires a strong technical background, a focus on safety, and the ability to support both new and existing system initiatives.
System Design & Implementation
• Design and develop ammonia refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related components
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new systems, as well as upgrades to existing equipment
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop technical specifications and project proposals
Technical Support & Training
• Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting support to engineers, technicians, and maintenance teams
• Lead training sessions on system operation, maintenance, and safety best practices
• Assist in improving system efficiency and reliability through continuous evaluation
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Relevant certifications in ammonia refrigeration are preferred
• Strong understanding of refrigeration system components and processes
• Experience with diagnostic tools and system analysis software
