You will be responsible for rendering credit decisions on incoming applicants consistent with internal policies, underwriting mortgage commitments, and verifying supporting documentation as submitted by Mortgage Brokers, and uphold our commitment to excellence in service level agreements.Does this sound like you?To thrive as a Full-Time Non-QM Underwriter at LendSure Mortgage Corp you will need a robust set of skills and knowledge in real estate lending and loan structuring. Familiarity with real estate markets, valuation methodologies. A strong understanding of borrower financials, credit risk, and KYC/AML compliance will enable you to ensure adherence to guidelines and mitigate risks. Proficiency in tools like Encompass, Salesforce, and Excel.Knowledge and skills required for the position are:Knowledge of real estate lending and loan structuring.Valuation methodologiesReview and analyze documentation provided on each loan to make an informed lending decision in compliance with LendSure Mortgage Corp.'s policies and guidelines.Ability to review complex tax returns.Ability to perform duties under minimal supervision and actively engage with the supervisor to resolve complicated issues.Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.Strong time management skills to plan and organize a high daily loan volume.Must be a detail-oriented team player able to collaborate constructively with fellow employees.Minimum 5 years of recent experience underwriting non-conforming residential mortgage loans.Minimum 5 years of experience with state and federal lending regulations (i.e., Ability to Repay, RESPA, Reg B, Reg Z, Fair Lending, etc.) Connect with our team today!We believe in taking care of our team, both on and off the job.
