24.06 - 28.00 USD Per Hour
Working Location:
Fresno, CA
Working Hours/Shift:
Monday - Friday, 9AM to 5PM. Working hours are approximate and may include flexibility as needed to meet client needs.

What you will bring to SBHG:
Education and Experience
High school diploma and at least one (1) year of experience in a behavioral health setting or in a social service field
Licensure & Compliance:
  • A valid California Driver's License and eligibility to meet agency driving criteria.

How you will make a difference:
The Outreach Specialist monitors Community Services social media accounts, website, and phone lines, responding to inquiries and crisis calls while coordinating team follow-up as needed. Provides community outreach, engagement, and crisis intervention services, consults with clinical staff when appropriate, completes assigned county processes, and promotes destigmatizing mental health education. Delivers services in homes, schools, workplaces, community, and office settings, and documents all services accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record.
Division/Program Overview:
  • Population Served (Capacity): Serves clients (ages 16-24).
  • Facility & Setting: Outpatient community-based services and support. Delivers client services throughout Fresno County within designated county limits. May be required to transport clients/client family members utilizing personal vehicle.
  • Clinical Services (Core): Individual and family Counseling.
  • Skills & Services: Medication management, Housing, Education, and Vocational Support services.
  • Role specific Benefits & Reimbursements: Mileage reimbursement included at a rate of $0.85 per mile and Monthly stipend included (Cell phone / Internet)
