This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers is building our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.

As an Adult Group Therapist, you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. This role will work with patients in our Mood & Anxiety Program, while also offering the opportunity to be cross-trained within our specialty programs and services: Trauma, OCD/Complex Anxiety, Mental Health and Substance Use.
What You'll Do:
- Developing and implementing DBT/CBT skill groups
- Providing crisis intervention and staff support, as needed
- Developing and documenting treatment plans and weekly update
- Co-facilitating creative expression and other experiential therapeutic groups
- Assisting program director in supporting families through phone coaching and follow-up calls
- Checking in with treatment team about changes and progress for individual patients
- Providing clinical observations and insights during interdisciplinary meetings
- Providing individual support to patients, as needed
- Providing support to other team members in various treatment groups
- Providing guidance and support for milieu staff during skills and executive functioning therapy activities/instruction
- Participating in discharge planning for patients
- Other duties, as assigned
Who You Are:
- Master's in Social Work/Clinical Counseling or other relevant Master's/Doctoral programs
- Hold or be eligible for one of the following licensures: LGSW, LPC, LCSW, LPCC, MSW, AMFT, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD (preferred)
- 1 + year of post-Master's clinical experience, or a relevant master's level internship
- Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Experience with patients in crisis, and a strong passion for working within high acuity environments
