As a Physical Therapist at Amethyst Physical Therapy, your daily activities will include:

• Evaluating patients’ physical abilities, conditions, and limitations to craft tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment regimens based on their responses and recovery trajectory.
• Providing education and guidance to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes, safety during exercises, and utilization of assistive devices.
• Recording and documenting treatment protocols and patient responses diligently to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and enhance continuity of care.
• Participating in regular team meetings and case discussions to share insights, experiences, and stay updated on best practices in physical therapy.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and participation in professional societies to stay current with advances in the field.

Our clinic serves a wide-ranging patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors recovering from surgical procedures, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be essential in crafting individualized treatment strategies that not only address immediate physical challenges but also empower patients toward achieving their longer-term health goals.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid physical therapy license issued by the State of New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in computer-based charting and documentation tools relevant to patient care.
• A flexible, proactive attitude, ensuring adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment.

While a minimum of two years of related experience is required, we highly value candidates who exhibit a commitment to patient care and a passion for ongoing learning. Experience in outpatient settings, particularly with diverse patient populations, will be beneficial.

Amethyst Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
