Job description


AmeriPath Indianapolis, one of the largest AmeriPath practices in the country, is seeking an AP/CP pathologist with fellowship training in Hematopathology.
Responsibilities
  • Candidate will require AP/CP training with additional fellowship training and eventual certification in Hematopathology. Potential options for a position include full-time hematopathology or a hybrid position with a combination of hematopathology and a mix of general and/or subspecialty surgical pathology cases with some hospital coverage.
  • Two-three years' experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidates will possess superior diagnostic ability, excellent interpersonal communication skills, integrity, accountability, exceptional clinical judgment and the ability to work as a team member.

Qualifications
  • Laboratory and/or Hospital based pathology experience
  • MD or DO
  • Hematopathology Fellowship training from an accredited program
  • Anatomic and Clinical Board Certification required
  • Hematology/Hematopathology Board Certification or board eligible
  • Must have or be eligible to attain an unrestricted Medical License to practice in the state of Indiana
