Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an Oregon RN license and 2 years of ED experience.

Details
  • Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
  • 12-hour night shift schedule with 36 hours per week
  • Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
  • On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
Requirements
  • Active or willing to obtain Oregon RN license
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
Additional Information
  • Apply the nursing process to patient care within RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Teach patients and significant others as part of care delivery
  • Document patient care accurately in the medical record
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
  • No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
