American Airlines is recruiting commercial airline pilots.

Application Process

Online Application → Records Review → HR Interview → Technical Interview → Simulator Evaluation → CJO & Training.

Minimum Requirements
  • Certificates – FAA ATP certificate
  • Total Flight Time – 1,500 hours minimum
  • Medical – FAA Class 1 medical certificate
  • Education – 4‑year degree preferred
  • Authorization – Unrestricted U.S. work authorization
  • FCC Permit – Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit required
