Job description

Job Title

Performs and reports variety of routine and complex laboratory procedures and tests which involve independent judgment and interpretation and the use of scientific technique and skills to operate many different types of sophisticated electronic laboratory equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Previous Medical Technologist experience preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related scientific field required. Other education may serve in lieu of required degree when combined with a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • Certified as Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) required within one year from hire or placement.
