Job description

At Standard Textile, we're dedicated to providing comfort and care across generations. The Manufacturing Assistant will utilize computer programs to compile and record production data to prepare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw material, quality control and other aspects of production.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Compile and record production data and generates various reports
  • Maintain files of documents used and prepared in reporting production statistics
  • Chart production using charts and graphs based on statistics compiled
  • Generate reports concerning progress of work, down time, and machine repairs
  • Report on inventory levels as requested
  • Conduct preliminary investigation for all project requests. Review requirements, specifications, test, support and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects
  • Coordinates collection of operation reports for submission to appropriate sources
  • Design, document and maintain system processes

Qualifications Include:
  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ manufacturing experience as Production Clerk/Administrative Assistant
  • Textile Industry experience as Scheduler, Production Coordinator/Clerk or previous experience as an analyst desired
  • Competent in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and AS400 or similar system
