Job Summary:**
The Trimmer is responsible for operating trimming presses to remove excess material from forged parts according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Operate various trimming presses, including mechanical and hydraulic, to trim forged parts.
* Set up and adjust trimming dies and tooling, ensuring proper alignment and function.
* Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors.
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of trimming equipment.
* Maintain accurate production records and complete required paperwork.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Assist with other production tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Education
* Ability to perform basic machine setup and adjustments.
* Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
