About Ameren Missouri
Ameren Missouri has been providing electric and gas service for more than 100 years, and our electric rates are among the lowest in the nation. Ameren Missouri's mission is to power the quality of life for our 1.2 million electric and 132,000 natural gas customers in central and eastern Missouri. Our service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities including the greater St. Louis area
Ameren Missouri is looking for a Gas Laborer at the Dexter Work Center for the construction and maintenance of gas distribution lines. You must be willing to meet the domicile requirement in order to be considered for the position.
The Gas Laborer duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, trenchers and jackhammers
• Assembling and installing gas meters
• Installing leak clamps
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Related experience preferred.
Must pass pre-employment testing associated with the position.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License. If an individual does not possess a Class A CDL, the Company will provide training to obtain one. However, an individual must possess a Class A CDL Permit that includes combination vehicle and air brakes prior to employment.
The CDL permit is required on the 1st day of employment.
Hourly Pay:
Grade Step BA 019 Step 1 of 1 (Top Step) - 39.96 USD
