We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.
We are currently seeking an Analyst Sr - FP&A to join our Global FP&A team in our New York, NY location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the Financial processes of the Marketing and Publicity teams, including expense tracking, budget management, and monthly forecasting and reporting.
  • Process and track invoices and ensure timely payment. Partner with internal accounting, accounts payable and external partners regarding payment status.
  • Reconcile media plans and review all media billing against contracts and/or forecasts.
  • Month-end close process, including preparation and review of accruals, partnering with accounting to confirm booking, and reviewing monthly financials with marketing leadership.
  • Assist with the end-to-end annual budgeting process
  • Various analysis and ad hoc reporting as required, including document and process automation through use of AI tools

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or accounting
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst, consultant or accounting position
  • Experience in working in a marketing department or in the media and entertainment industry is preferred.
  • MS Office expertise, with an emphasis in Excel, including copilot experience
  • Proficiency in Oracle EPM, Oracle Planning and Oracle EBS is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve and effectively prioritize one's workload.

The base compensation for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience. AMC Global Media additionally offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption Services, among other benefit plan options, subject to eligibility requirements.
