Paramedic - Ambulance

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Paramedic with us:

  • You will provide both basic and advanced life support, including comprehensive patient assessment, invasive airway management, cardiac monitoring, and administration of medications.
  • You will frequently be in a leadership role working with other pre-hospital care providers.
  • You will be responsible for verbal communication with the patient, other pre-hospital providers, and hospital personnel, including physician medical directors.
  • You will complete extensive written documentation on patient condition and treatment provided, and must understand all applicable legal, moral, and ethical issues surrounding emergency medical service.
  • You should be dedicated to continued learning through continuing education and maintenance of required licensures and certifications
  • You will respond to all calls requested of you and your partner(s) by the company.
  • You will maintain accurate and up to date Narcotic Logs.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Maintains an Insurable driving record—details of the Company Driving Privileges Policy.
  • Maintains a Criminal background must meet the Company standards
  • Current Colorado State Paramedic Certification or License.
  • Current ACLS.
  • Current National Registry Certification.
  • Current CPR.
