Job description

Kinetic Events Staffing is seeking experienced guest-facing ambassadors for a long-running immersive theater experience beginning Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
This role is ideal for individuals seeking a consistent part-time schedule with the opportunity to grow into near-full-time hours. While the current program is scheduled through May 31, 2026, the venue is secured long-term, and there is a strong likelihood of extension for team members who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and commitment.

We offer a fun, collaborative, and supportive work environment and are building a core team for an ongoing program.
Job Description

  • This is a long-running immersive theatrical experience located at the Reid Building in River North (333 N LaSalle Street, Chicago).
  • Ambassadors will support a 75-minute guest experience by guiding participants through a series of curated moments. Responsibilities include learning short scripts and cues, interacting with guests, and assisting with sensory and interactive elements designed to create an engaging, memorable experience. This role functions as part of an ensemble-based immersive theater production. Consistent attendance, cue accuracy, and collaboration are essential to the success of the experience
  • Pay is $22/hour - we pay weekly via direct deposit!

Rehearsal/Training Shifts:

  • Feb 20, 21, 22: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Feb 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 & Mar 1: 2 PM - 6 PM (MANDATORY)

Typical Show Shifts (Mar 3-May 31)

  • Tuesdays: 4 hour shifts between the hours of 5:15 PM-10:15 PM
  • Wednesdays: 4-8.25 hour shifts between the hours of 1:15 PM -10:15 PM
  • Thursdays: 4-5.25 hour shifts between the hours of 5:30 PM -10:45 PM
  • Fridays: 4-5.25 hour shifts between the hours of 4:30 PM -10:15 PM
  • Saturdays: 4-10.50 hour shifts between the hours of 11:30 PM -11 PM
  • Sundays: 5.5-7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 12 PM- 8:15 PM

Job Requirements

  • Must have a considerable background in front-facing customer service roles.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 4-12 hours), except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
  • Must have proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
  • Limited phone use during shifts.
  • Must adhere to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.
