Job description

Advance the future of Connected TV (CTV) advertising measurement by developing innovative strategies that help advertisers unlock unprecedented insights and value. In this pivotal role, you'll bridge technology, partnerships, and strategic vision to evolve how brands understand and optimize their CTV advertising investments across Amazon's premium video properties and third-party publisher partnerships.
As Principal, CTV Measurement Strategy & Business Development, you will lead the development and execution of measurement strategies that enable advertisers to better quantify and maximize the value of premium CTV investments. You'll drive thought leadership across industry bodies, evaluate emerging measurement technologies and partnerships, and build business development frameworks that extend beyond any single initiative to deliver long-term organizational value. Expect to move seamlessly between executive strategy sessions, technical deep dives, and cross-functional collaboration.
This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic vision and collaborative execution. You'll work at the intersection of product innovation, partnership development, and go-to-market strategy to ensure Amazon Ads remains at the forefront of CTV measurement innovation. Work collaboratively with industry measurement providers and standards bodies to support advertiser choice and innovation across CTV.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive measurement strategies for CTV advertising across Amazon's video properties and publisher partnerships
- Drive innovation in measurement solutions that address diverse advertiser needs
- Lead strategic business development initiatives with measurement providers and technology platforms
- Represent Amazon Ads in industry associations and standards bodies
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Analytics teams to translate market insights into actionable strategies
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of professional experience in advertising technology, measurement, media, or related fields
- Proven track record of leading complex business development initiatives and strategic partnerships in the digital advertising or media ecosystem
- Deep expertise in video/CTV measurement methodologies, including panel-based measurement, census-based approaches, and emerging alternatives
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and drive consensus across multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience working with measurement providers, publishers, advertisers, or advertising technology platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate technical solutions and business models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or above in business administration, economics, mathematics, engineering, statistics or related field
- Experience with advertising publishers and marketing/creative agencies
- Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities
- Active participation in industry organizations such as IAB, ARF, VAB, or similar bodies
- Track record of thought leadership through published research, speaking engagements, or industry working groups
- Experience with data clean room technologies, privacy-preserving measurement, and identity solutions
- Understanding of programmatic advertising, DSP/SSP technologies, and ad serving infrastructure

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
