Job description

Join us as a Sr. Technical Program Manager on the AI Studios Engineering org within Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, where you'll drive the delivery of intelligent systems at the intersection of AI and cinematic storytelling. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead programs for Nara, our AI-native content creation platform that empowers creators to produce professional animation and live action content featuring world-class intellectual properties at unprecedented speed and scale.
In this role, you'll own end-to-end program delivery across AI-powered creative tools, media processing pipelines, and ML model integrations

You'll work alongside ML engineers, Platform engineers, applied scientists, creative professionals - animators, filmmakers, and storytellers - to coordinate and ship features that directly transform how animation and live action/VFX content is made for Prime Video's most ambitious productions. This is an ideal opportunity for TPMs who are passionate about AI/ML applications in entertainment and want to drive impact on industry-defining products featuring iconic IPs.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. TPM, you will drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs across engineering, science, and creative teams

You will own program strategy and roadmap for Nara platform capabilities, AI model development, integration, and infrastructure, as well as creator tooling initiatives, driving prioritization across competing demands in a fast-moving AI/ML environment.
You will develop comprehensive program plans with clear scope, milestones, resource requirements, and success metrics. A strong technical acumen is essential. You will evaluate technical proposals across AI/ML pipelines, media processing services, and creator-facing tooling, and partner with engineering and science leaders on trade-off decisions around model training, inference, and content generation workflows.
You will communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership across Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios

You will ensure on-time delivery of milestones for animation and live action/VFX production, track impact on cost reduction and timeline compression, and drive continuous improvement across a rapidly scaling organization.
A day in the life
No two days look the same in this fast-paced environment. A typical day might start with a program review for a new platform capability, followed by working through resource trade-offs with engineering and science leads. You could be resolving a cross-team dependency on a pipeline integration, partnering with the science team on model fine-tuning plans, running a showcase or demo for stakeholders, or leading a roadmap planning session

You might also work with creative teams to understand production needs and pain points, and translate those into technical requirements for engineering. You'll lead milestone reviews, and clear blockers so teams can ship, all while working on AI platform that powers content featuring world-class IPs.
