AUM Logistiks, LLC (2023 AMXL: "DSP Of The Year!"), is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic, team players to manage the fleet and help with dispatch.

We're looking to hire a Fleet Manager to own the full lifecycle of our delivery vehicle fleet — from daily inspections and preventive maintenance to vendor management, telematics monitoring, and cost control.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, mechanically literate, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

  • Oversee daily DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports); pull unsafe vehicles from service immediately
  • Execute preventive maintenance calendars: oil changes, brakes, tires, fluids, filters
  • Triage and coordinate repairs with approved vendors; maintain backup vehicles to prevent route gaps

Compliance & Documentation

  • Keep vehicle registrations, insurance schedules, and DOT documentation current
  • Manage all incident/accident reporting through the Amazon DSP portal within required timeframes
  • Enforce Amazon vehicle condition and appearance standards

Telematics & Data

  • Monitor Mentor/Netradyne in-cab camera and telematics data daily; review flagged events
  • Partner with field managers to deliver data-driven coaching to drivers
  • Audit fuel card usage against vehicle mileage; flag anomalies

Fleet Operations

  • Manage daily vehicle-to-driver assignments for standard and AMXL routes
  • Serve as first responder for in-field breakdowns: coordinate roadside assistance and vehicle swaps
  • Manage vendor relationships, parts inventory, and roadside assistance contracts

Budget & Reporting

  • Own the fleet cost line: fuel, maintenance, insurance, registration, and lease payments
  • Track cost-per-mile per vehicle; model repair-vs.-replace decisions on aging units
  • Provide weekly fleet readiness reports to ownership
Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of fleet management, transportation operations, or vehicle maintenance coordination
  • Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA vehicle compliance standards
  • Strong organizational skills — comfortable managing 20+ vehicles, multiple vendors, and shifting priorities
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and Saturdays

Additional Information
  • Amazon DSP, last-mile delivery, or logistics/transportation background
  • Familiarity with Mentor by eDriving or Netradyne telematics platforms
  • Mechanical aptitude or ASE certification
  • Experience managing fleets of 30+ commercial vehicles
