Job description

FedEx Ground Contractor has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for 5 CDL A Commercial Driver License drivers for our rapidly expanding needs. We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated Class A CDL drivers based out of Londonderry, NH. As a CDL Driver, you will deliver, using our Equipment and technology, on daily, local routes that have you home after each shift. Our deliveries vary from 100% no touch freight (drop and hook only) to live loads. Drivers will dispatch out of the FedEx Ground terminal located at 44 Industrial Dr Londonderry, NH 03053.

Work Hours: 8:00pm – 7:00am

(4) Full-time 5 nights - four weekdays and one weekend day

(1) Part-time 4 nights - Fri-Mon; two weekdays and two weekends

TRUCKS: 2022-2024 Freightliner Cascadia, Volvo VNR, and Mack Anthem’s

Driver Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old.

Must possess a class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with doubles endorsements.

* Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.

Must possess 1 year tractor/trailer experience within most recent 3 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.

No current CDL suspension or revocation

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & Clean DAC Report

Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Ability to hook-up and break-down sets of trailers that require an average lift force of about 100 pounds, several times a day or more.

Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck.

Demonstrates initiative and motivation.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

Drive long distances day and night on all types of roads and in all types of weather.

Exposure to noise and vibration

Exposure to dust and diesel fumes

Exposure to hazardous materials shipped and packaged under DOT regulations.

Hours may vary due to operational need.
