Ready to solve challenging problems at global scale. Join Amazon's OTS Supply Chain team as a Sr. Systems Development Engineer to transform technology infrastructure through innovative Gen-AI powered solutions to critical supply chain systems & problems.
Build scalable, distributed systems supporting Amazon's global supply chain operations

Architect unified platforms consolidating multiple ordering channels, implement real-time validation services, and develop workflow automation systems. Design data ingestion engines, financial tracking services, and role-based access control frameworks. Drive technical decisions balancing system reliability, performance, and feature velocity while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key job responsibilities
System Architecture & Development
- Architect and build distributed micro-services handling millions of transactions daily with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Design unified platforms consolidating legacy systems into single customer interfaces
- Implement real-time validation services with sub-second response times
- Develop scalable data ingestion engines supporting multiple formats with guardrail-based validation
- Build workflow automation systems with configurable approval routing and SLA tracking
- Optimize database queries and caching strategies ensuring sub-100ms response times for critical paths
- Design event-driven architectures using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS)
Technical Leadership
