Job description

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Amazon Leo is looking for experienced, self-starter Account Executive to drive adoption of Leo services with North American enterprise customers across multiple verticals (e.g. Energy, Manufacturing, Healthcare).
You are responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing complex deals with multiple key accounts. You are responsible for managing the lifecycle of complex cross-functional customers, delivering outcomes with cross-organizational impact. You execute and define sales strategies that complements product strategy with limited oversight from others. You not only implement but also develop strategy for getting and delivering customer feedback.
You serve as a partner or thought leader for other sales teams on opportunities to contribute to the company. You contribute to strategic documents including but not limited to regional and vertical GTM and account plans. You own reporting on forecasting and planning the business impact of each opportunity, with a focus on actuals vs. plan targets.
You can deeply impact measurable business metrics are able to close or significantly grow large or more complex medium sized business opportunities.
Key job responsibilities
Contribute to the build out of Amazon Leo service revenue with specific focus on key North American enterprise customers
Be customer obsessed. Think on behalf of the customer and work to meet the customer's stated and unstated needs and aspirations
Execute strategic and tactical business development initiatives while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Amazon Leo product and engineering teams, legal, finance) and sales team colleagues
Be the internal coordinator supporting complex contract negotiations and complex business requirements and activities which deliver results
Adept at thinking strategically and analytically about business priorities, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to deliver target-based results working cross-organizationally
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management, preferably in telecommunications, satellite, connectivity, or technology sectors
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with deal sizes of $1M+
- Experience managing full sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in telecommunications, satellite communications, ISP, or related industries

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
