Job description

Position Summary/Purpose:
GCU CityServe received shipments of returned, overstock, or discontinued models of products from big box retailers such as Costco, Amazon, and Walmart. The purpose of this position is to help fulfill donation requests from our partners. This will be done gathering items throughout our warehouse and organizing them onto a pallet to be picked up. . The perfect candidate for this position would have great attention to detail as well as being self-motivated.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Gather goods throughout the warehouse for pod wish lists
  • Organize and sort merchandise
  • Ensure all items are accounted for on the list
  • Other duties as assigned

Equipment Used and Responsibility
  • Attention to detail to ensure lists are packed correctly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate positively with team members.

Experience/ Education
Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University
  • Available to work 20 hours per week during GCU CityServe hours of operation
  • Must successfully pass a background check

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: AZ Minimum wage
Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
