Position/Title: Ecommerce Content Manager
Reports to: Marketing Director

Summary

Himalaya Wellness is seeking an Ecommerce Content Manager to manage our brands’ digital shelf presence primarily on Amazon (US & Canada), as well as Walmart.com and other marketplaces. Our brands have experienced substantial growth on the platforms and will look to you to identify opportunities to accelerate that growth. In this role, you will bring your Amazon and Ecommerce specific experience, AI familiarity and creative development experience to chart a course for the organization’s approach to our Ecommerce content marketing on the platform. This role is responsible for overseeing PDP (Product Detail Page) content, image and video development through AI and design, below-the-fold storytelling, SEO optimization and copywriting, and Brand Stores across Amazon and other marketplaces. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of ecommerce and retail content strategies, a keen eye for detail and creative, and strong project management skills to work with cross‑functional teams and execute against tight timelines. The role requires a dynamic, highly flexible, and driven individual who can work independently, dive into new tools and AI technology, excel under pressure and tight time constraints. Exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, with the ability to filter and prioritize feedback and requests strategically are the keys to success in this role.

The Ecommerce Content Manager will report to the Marketing Director with a dotted line accountability to the head of E‑Commerce. You will work in strong collaboration with Brand, Ecommerce and Creative Teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee all PDP content across Ecommerce platforms: titles, bullets, A+ content, storefronts, images, andvideo. Leverage AI and existing and emerging Amazon tools to enhance and elevate our digital presence.
  • Own end-to-end content creation process for product detail pages, A+ content, content optimizations, andBrand Store from identifying needs through content development to uploading on Amazon andmarketplaces. Ensure accuracy, brand consistency and retailer compliance. Examples of content optimization
    may include creating new design templates, updating carousel images and enhanced content every 8-10months, and conducting SEO refreshes for PDP copy.
  • Continuously identify ways to elevate and optimize our content and ads, leveraging AI, best practices,competitive audits. Collaborate with brand team and Ecommerce teams to enhance advertising, listings andstorefront.
  • Create clear and detailed content briefs to either execute against or hand off to internal Creative teams tobring digital shelf roadmap to life. Collaborate with the Brand team on briefs and feedback.
  • Plan and execute the development of assets for product launches for all new products to ensure retailreadiness prior to launch. Monitor post-launch performance, leveraging internal tools and Amazon AIcapabilities, and identify opportunities to drive sales and implement.
  • Track and enhance keyword performance, search rank, reviews, and Q&A. Optimize listings for SEO, Rufus/AItools and best practices. Leverage AI for listings and A/B test titles and bullets.
  • Leverage AI for copy, images and video when needed; this includes utilizing the Amazon AI tools available inSeller Central.
  • Continuously audit and optimize new and existing Amazon product listings for best practice, conversion andkeeping pace with competition: pictures, copywriting, keyword, title, bullet points, A+ Content, productdescriptions, Storefront, etc. Revisit and refresh product line templates.
  • Oversee the refresh and optimization of Amazon Brand Stores, ensuring alignment with brand strategy andnew launches. Manage and upload content to Brand Store.
  • Manage photography workflows and timelines, ensuring delivery of high‑quality product imagery alignedwith brand and channel standards.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise through moderation and expedite any urgent content needs.
  • Conduct A/B tests and track performance regularly to optimize PDPs.
  • Develop copy and creative for Sponsored advertising, leveraging AI to generate images and videos and workwith Brand, Ecommerce and Creative teams.
  • Update and maintain the PIM for Ecommerce and Brand teams.
  • Monitor Amazon Store traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, implementing data‑backed contentimprovements to enhance customer experience and sales.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including creative, brand, legal, and sales and Amazon agency toalign content strategy with product and business goals.
  • Prioritize competing needs across brand and Ecommerce asks and help team members prioritize projects.
  • Engage and partner with Brand and Sales teams broadly to stay up to date on the latest Amazon tools,consumer insights, industry trends, competitive strategy, and customer objectives to proactively informcontent strategies.
Qualifications
  • Must have experience with Amazon Seller Central, A+ Content Manager and Brand Store.
  • High use and familiarity of AI and Amazon AI tools.
  • Strong experience with SEO, keyword optimization and copywriting.
  • Graphic design experience and working knowledge of Canva and Adobe.
  • Strong project managements skills to manage a multitude of skus, timelines and cross‑functional teams todeliver plans in a timely manner. Ability to manage projects, develop timelines, articulate critical pathsand deliver outcomes on time.
  • Experience managing product listings, product catalog and PIM.
  • Experience working with creative teams, ability to write briefs and an eye for good design.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central tools, Sellics, Helium 10 and Jungle Scout.
  • Knowledge of syndicated sources (e.g., Stackline) used in the analysis of consumer and volume dynamics.
  • Highly collaborative and capable of receiving direction from peers and leaders across functions
  • Strong attention to detail balanced with a sense of urgency and a commitment to excellence
  • Ability to maintain excellence and be highly effective working with a remote team and having onlyperiodic in‑person contact with leadership
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, navigate and add value to business situations and organizationalchallenges with no existing process or solution
