Job Description

TREK LOGISTICS is looking for customer service-obsessed delivery drivers.

We are an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) located at the DFH1 Station (6499 NW 12th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309). We are looking for reliable Delivery Associates who are concerned with customer satisfaction and safely and promptly transporting items. You will be driving a safe, new, comfortable vehicle while using the latest technology to locate and deliver packages to Amazon customers. MORNING SHIFT

Drivers will typically work 8-10 hours/day (3 or 4 days a week, including weekends), including 2x15-minute break stops and 1x30 minutes for lunchtime.
Compensation $20.50 per hour.
Monetary and other Incentives for Top Performers.

Job Type:

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
United States Work permit.
-English and Spanish.
Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
You must have experience in delivering packages to Amazon customers as a DSP DA or Amazon DA or a Flex Driver.
Commercial driving experience (or work-related) is a plus.
Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 9 hours long.
Ability to work 32 hours a week.
Ability to operate and navigate a car.
Ability to effectively operate a GPS and use different applications related to the company activities.
Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds each.
Capable of moving up and downstairs.

General Responsibilities
Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
Interact positively and professionally with the customer and the public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail, and business locations.
Follow up on customer requests or problems with a solution-oriented approach keeping the customer informed of delivery progress if needed.
Use handheld technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles and on-road problems.
Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition always
May assist in training other team members
Where appropriate, carry out delivery station activities including sortation and general tasks related to the Company jobs and tasks.

Work Environment
Drive a delivery van to many (sometimes 200-300 stops a day) customer residences and businesses address, climb in and out of the van, and walk up and down stairs as required to deliver packages according to established safety and customer-oriented procedures in all weather conditions.

 Flexibility is key: routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic from on-road congestion, construction, or other factors. Be able to work as a team member and help other drivers to accomplish all the company tasks and jobs.
Set core schedule, but there may be adjustments including, additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on the time of the year and peak seasons, and other factors

We will work together and will propose to reliable and top-performing Associates other responsibility positions such as Lead Drivers, Dispatchers, and Operation Managers.
